Physicians and Facilities
You can check if your doctors are in the network even before you enroll in the Aetna POS plan by using Aetna's DocFind®.
Make an informed choice.
Aetna's DocFind gives you easy access to information about providers and facilities. This includes information about which plans the provider accepts, medical school attended, board certification status, and gender, as well as information about the provider's offices, such as handicapped access and office hours. Other features include maps, driving directions and listings, where applicable.
Get up-to-date information.
Aetna's DocFind is updated three times per week, giving you access to the latest available information.
The information on network doctors and professionals is available in English or Spanish. You can search by name, specialty, gender, languages spoken or hospital affiliation. For example, search by "location" if you want to find a PCP close to your home or office.
You can use the online directory anywhere you have Internet access. If you have questions while searching for a provider, you can submit a comment or question by clicking on the "Contact Us" link located in under "Helpful Information" on the left side of the Aetna DocFind screen.
You can also call Member Services with your questions about network providers.
